Jeff Satur : An Amazing Thai Soloist
Jeff Satur is an amazing artist from Thailand!
He is a singer, songwriter, actor, and producer, just to name a few! He is under Wayfer Records. I first discovered Jeff on a show called KinnPorsche the Series La ‘forte in 2022 and have been a fan ever since! In fact one of my favorite songs by him was actually in the series.
The title of the song is Why Don’t You Stay and it was released on August 7, 2022. The song came out in Thai and English.
This is a love song. It starts by saying that he was lost until he found that person. It then talks about loving that person so much and them being in their own world together.
It talks about struggling when he is alone but when they are with that right person they feel safe and all the chaos seems to disappear.
It talks about always wanting to stay by that persons side even if the world around them is ending. He is asking that person to stay with him and even heal him in a way.
Some of the lyrics include “But just to be with you, Just you lying close, I can see the scars fade away on their own, Lost in your eyes, There was no place I could hide, Take me inside, And let me live in your mind, No pain tonight, This place is reserved for only you and I …. ‘Cause I Wanna stay, On your side, Even if the world come crashing down tonight, We’ll be fine, Hold me close and we’ll just leave it all behind, Why don’t you stay?”
I think this song is absolutely beautiful! And the idea of loving someone so much that you just want to be with them and when you are, you feel safe even if the outside world might be falling apart is beautiful as well!
But he is also known for his work in The Paradise of Thorns (2024), and Dead Friend Forever – DFF (2023).
One thing that I love about watching his music videos is that they all tell incredible stories. In my opinion all the music he has released is incredible. He also has such a unique and powerful voice and style to his music that is very captivating.
The song Black Tie is very powerful and impactful. It was released on October 12, 2023. The song is all in English and Jeff was the producer, composer, wrote the lyrics and was in charge of all the instruments in the song. The music video for this song is very grand.
A short description of the song is below the music video and I think it perfectly describes what the song is talking about. It says “In order to be invited to the party of silence. You have to lose all your youth and feeling. Wear the tie and be what they’re like. But I will wear my own black tie.”
To me this song could be saying that he maybe at one point wanted to be invited and a part of the party but as time went on he realized that he no longer wanted to be. He used to feel the colors in the world but now he only sees black and white, are part of the lyrics.
Something really interesting about this music video is that it starts out with him wearing black and white and almost blending in with everyone else, following along. But as the music video progresses, he is dressed in a red outfit.
I think this suggests and shows that, just as the song suggests, he wants to be who he is and who he wants to be. He is almost the color in this dark world.

Another song that I love and would recommend is called Ride or Die, which came out on January 10, 2025. This is also an all English song. The music video is incredible and is again very grand. I would say that the music video is a love story with a twist!
A few lyrics include, “Pedal down your love is a ride … Full speed we ride or we die… I feel on overdrive I feel it … Your the light, your the night your my goddess”

Dum Dum is a song that came out on March 16, 2023. Jeff was again the producer, composer, lyricist, did the arrangement and all the instruments. This was the second song I listened to of his and loved!
The music video I would say is very haunting and eye catching. And it could be considered a bit dark. This song is also very catchy and just fun to listen to in general! The song is also mostly in Thai.
My interpretation of some of the lyrics is that he loved someone that is not good for him. Lyrics include “I suffered immensely, then it all became numb… I prayed intensely… then it all became dumb… the crueler you are, the sooner I succumb… the harsh words you say… the lies, the games you play… only spread to others… you call this true love… but this is not what I deserve… you call this a dream… only for you, it seems.”

Jeff Satur is an amazing artist that I have been following since 2022. I absolutely love when he releases music and I also know that I will never be disappointed with the music he puts out. It is so unique to him and his voice truly grabs the viewers attention.
All of his music videos are also amazing to watch because they are like short movies and his acting is always amazing!
I would highly recommend listening to and following Jeff Satur and I can’t wait to see what he releases in the future!
